STRONG AS AN OX CARPET SPRAY ADHESIVE has been specifically developed for use in the flooring industry. Its heavy-duty formulation is ideal for fixing foam and felt backed carpets, carpet tiles and underlays.
Caution
Not suitable for vehicle head-linings or highly plasticised PVC. An evaluation of the adhesive should be carried out in application conditions before commercial use is undertaken, this should also include reference to ageing.
Directions
Use only as directed. Use in a well-ventilated area. Mating surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from any contaminants. Shake well before use. Cover adjacent areas. Spray the adhesive creating a uniform coating from approximately 25cm ( 10 inches). For applications on porous materials or to achieve maximum strength adhesion, coat both surfaces. All 1-2 minutes for the solvents to evaporate and then press together firmly, working from the centre outwards to achieve a good bond. For a lighter bond, or where repositioning may be required, spray onto one surface only, allowing the adhesive to dry before pressing into place. For best results, the adhesive should be used at temperatures between 15C-25C and stored at temperatures between 10C-20C. After use, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.
Always test on a small inconspicuous area first to determine the suitability of this product.
