Preparation
Remove all loose rust and flaking paint with a wire brush, wet and dry paper or steel wool. When dry sanding, wear a suitable fast mask to avoid dust inhalation. Special precautions should be taken during the surface preparation of pre 1960’s surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. Using a suitable diluted detergent, remove all grease, grime and dirt and allow to air dry.
Always patch test on an inconspicuous area or card/paper and allow to fully dry to ensure the suitability of this product.
Directions
Use only as directed. Stir well before use. For brush applications, do not thin. One coat should be sufficient if applied to previously painted surface which is in a good condition. On bare or rusty services, a second coat may be required. After use, clean brush with a suitable brush cleaner. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
Caution
This product is not recommended for large surface areas such a ceilings, floors or walls. Do not store in extremes of temperature or in direct sunlight. Due to printing limitations, any colour indication depicted on front of this can is only intended as a guide.
Coverage
Up to 2.75m2/litre depending on surface and method of application.
