BARTOLINE WOOD FILLER is specially formulated for all types of repairs to wood including window frames, doors, skirting boards etc. It gives good adhesion and flexibility when set and can be stained, varnished or painted as required. Available in two colours, white and brown.
Directions
Preparation: Ensure surfaces to be filled are clean, dry and dust free. Remove unsound or rotten wood to give a solid base for the repair. Overpaint nails and metal fittings with an oil-based primer. Press filler firmly into the repair using an appropriate tool. For deep repairs fill to a maximum thickness of 6mm and allow to set before applying the next layer. Fill slightly proud of the surrounding surface and rub down when completely set to give a perfect finish. When used outdoors seal the filler with an oil-based paint or varnish. Protect the filled area from rain and water until sealed. Do not use in areas that are permanently wet.
