RAPIDE ANTI-MOULD SPRAY PAINT has been specially formulated to dry quickly with a matt finish to keep walls and ceilings paint mould free.
Preparation
Ensure the surface(s) to be treated are clean, dry and free from loose debris, mould, grease, oil, wax, dirt and moisture. Remove existing mould by using mould killer before use. Allow new plaster to dry for approx. 7 days and seal prior to use. Mask surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Fill holes or cracks with filler and sand down. Ensure can is at room temperature before use. Do not apply in temperature below 10C.
Directions
Use only as directed. Do not shake can in an up and down direction. For best results, shake can in a side to “whisking” motion for 2 minutes prior and occasionally whilst in use to ensure uniformity and prevent clogging. Use in a well-ventilated area, spray the can upright, evenly over the affected area from a distance of 25-30cm. Apply 2-3 coats, leaving at least 15 minutes between coats. Touch dry approx. 2 hours but leave doors and windows open to avoid build-up of further condensation for 24 hours. Anti Mould Paint will stop working if painted over.
Limitations
If mould has been caused by damp, get it checked and treated first.
Cleaning
To prevent clogging for future use, clear the nozzle by turning the can upside down, then spray until the nozzle is clear. Additionally, remove the nozzle and soak in thinners.
Storage
Do not store in extremes of temperature. Protect from frost.
Safety Device Fitted
There may be a safety device fitted that prevents the nozzle depressing and releasing the spray. If this is the case, carefully remove the nozzle then using a slotted screwdriver, prise off the disc and replace the nozzle.
